Live Free Magazine in association with Aperture Cinema presents “Noir Film” screenings, and discussions. Which revolve around and celebrateAfrican American film makers. The goal is to promote artists that create cinematic works that draw out themes tied to urban community and its development.
“Noir Film” kicks off with a series presented in downtown Winston Salem, the city of arts and innovation. Hosted by celebrity guest from television and stage Elizabeth Scott.
We invite featured guest to showcase their film that he or she has produce in an effort to celebrate black cinema.
The selected participants will be featured in a photo spread in Live Free Magazine. All in an effort to bring exposure to the emerging diaspora. Each presenter has this opportunity provided by Live Free Magazine and Aperture Cinema at no cost to them. A small percentage of ticket price will be provided to each film maker. Over the two day screening, guest will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite film using LFM social media platforms. The winner is awarded a trophy and a small monetary prize.
