As the long hot days of summer are coming to an end, we know you’re ready to ditch the tinted moisturizer, waterproof mascara, and rose lip balm. Fall is almost here and glam is calling. The best thing the cool weather brings besides cookie-scented everything is the fact that your makeup no longer melts off your face the moment you step outside. Which means…you can actually wear more than a BB cream! Fall and winter beauty trends are always fun for me because there are so many options! Nothing is more charming than fall leaves changing to warm shades of brown, red and gold. These warms shades bring a plethora of makeup looks to rock.
TIP 1: Probably the most popular of the season change, beautiful berry lips. Invest in a lip scrub to remove dry, dead skin leaving lips plump, smooth and hydrated.
TIP 2 : Shimmery bronzed eye shadow. I love bronzy eyes because it looks great with every eye color and its virtually effortless to achieve. Your friends will thank you, with shades of light gold’s, warm bronzes and rich browns you can’t go wrong.
TIP 3 : Also, remember to moisturize. With the changing weather keep your skin moisturized. The best time to apply moisturizer is while your skin is still damp. It helps the ingredients absorb more efficiently.
TIP 4: Do not go to sleep with your makeup on. Whether you get home at midnight after a night out with friends or drift into slumber land while watching TV on the couch, it can be tempting to tumble into bed without washing your face. Try to resist. As you snuggle against your pillow, the day’s collection of dirt and oil, along with makeup, are being pushed into your pores. And, it’s those blocked pores, that lead to pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. Too tired to get to the bathroom, keep a pack of makeup wipe by your bed.
Time to revert your beauty routine back to dazzling, get that pumpkin spice latte and anything but basic.
